Getting started
Sign in once, then open a job application.
Requirements
- Google Chrome 116 or later.
- A TalentProfile account. Sign up.
Install
The extension is not yet available in the Chrome Web Store.
Sign in
- Click the TalentProfile icon in the Chrome toolbar, or press Ctrl+Shift+L (macOS: ⌘+Shift+L).
- Click Sign in. A TalentProfile tab opens.
- Sign in there. The tab closes and Chrome returns to the tab you started from.
While the popup waits it shows Waiting for connection…. Click Cancel to stop. After 5 minutes it stops by itself and shows Sign-in took too long. Try again.
The popup
- Profile card. Your name, title, location, years of experience and top skills.
- Profile N% complete. Shown when your profile is missing data, with a Missing: list.
- Edit profile, My matches, Applications. Open those pages on TalentProfile.
- Site badge. Tells you whether the extension works on the current page, for example Greenhouse (React) detected.
- Fill visible fields. Fills the form on the current page. See Fill a form.
- Settings (gear icon). Enabled sites, suggestions, shortcuts, dashboard, profile refresh and sign out.
If your profile is nearly empty, the popup shows Your profile is too empty to fill forms. Complete your profile first.
Sign out
Open the popup, click the gear icon, then click Sign out.
