Guides
Saved answers and suggestions
The extension saves the answers you give in applications to your TalentProfile account and reuses them on later forms.
When answers are saved
- When you submit an application, the extension saves the fields you filled or changed.
- While you work, it also saves a draft about 1.5 seconds after you change a field.
- Empty fields and file fields are not saved.
- You must be signed in.
Each saved answer keeps the question, your answer, the field type, the page address and the application platform. See Privacy.
When answers are reused
When you fill a form, a saved answer is used for a field when:
- the question is the same, or worded almost the same, and
- the field takes the same kind of answer.
Country-specific questions
Some answers depend on the job's country. Questions about work authorization, right to work, sponsorship, visas, citizenship, permanent residency, nationality, relocation and export control reuse an answer only from a job in the same country.
The extension knows the job's country when you open the application from TalentProfile. Otherwise these questions are not filled from saved answers.
Classifier suggestions (beta)
Suggestions link a question to one of your saved answers when the wording differs.
- Off by default.
- Turn on: open the popup, click the gear icon, click Classifier suggestions (beta).
- When on, the picker may show a saved answer marked Suggested answer. Click it to insert it.
- A suggestion is never filled without your click.
The model ships inside the extension and runs in your browser. Questions are not sent anywhere for a suggestion.
