What the extension reads, stores and sends.

This page covers the TalentProfile Autofill Chrome extension. Your TalentProfile account is covered by the TalentProfile privacy policy.

Where data goes

The extension talks only to TalentProfile servers at backend.talentprofile.net.
It sends no data to third parties.
It contains no analytics, tracking or remote error reporting.

Your profile: name, contact details, links, work history, education, skills, languages, rates and summary.
Your saved application answers.
Your notes.
Your CV file, only when a form has a file field to fill.

Application answers. When you fill or edit fields on a job application, the extension saves the question and your answer to your TalentProfile account. This happens when you submit the application, when you leave the page after a submit attempt, and as a draft shortly after you change a field. Each saved answer includes the question text, field type, your answer, the page address and the application platform.
Notes. Notes you add, edit or delete in the picker.
Sign-in tokens. Used to authenticate each request and to refresh your session.

File fields are never captured. Workday password fields are never captured.

Sign-in tokens stay in extension storage until you sign out.
The list of sites you enabled and the suggestion setting stay until you change them.
A copy of your profile is cached for up to 5 minutes in session storage. Chrome clears it when the browser closes.
Answers waiting to upload are kept in session storage for at most 30 minutes.
Your CV is held in memory only.

The suggestion model ships inside the extension and runs in your browser.
Model input and results are not sent anywhere.
Suggestions are off by default. Turn them on with Classifier suggestions (beta) in the popup settings.

`scripting`	Run the extension on sites you enable.
`offscreen`	Run the on-device suggestion model.
Workday and Greenhouse hosts	Work on supported job sites right after install.
`talentprofile.net` hosts	Sign in and load your profile.
Other sites (optional)	Asked one site at a time, only when you click Enable here. Removed when you disable the site.

Sign out in the popup settings removes your tokens, the profile cache and the cached CV from the browser.
Answers and notes already saved to your account stay in your account.
